Message to Parents
First of all, we wanted to let you know how blessed we feel to have you as our parents! We (parents AND children’s ministry) have the opportunity to raise our kids up in Christ while they still want to listen to us…and we do that together! Did you know that children/teens that attended church once a week were 18% happier in their 20’s than those that didn’t? Did you know that kids that attended church once a week had a 33% less chance of getting involved with drugs or becoming sexual active at an earlier age? Got your attention? Showing them a life with Christ not only gives them a foundation to jump into this world but also gives them the joy that can only be found in Him! Here’s the article if you’d like to read more!

I Need to Know
Philip and the Man from Ethiopia
Acts 8:26-40
Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don’t give up.
Galatians 6:9, NIrV
Keep going even when you have questions.
Determination—Deciding it’s worth it to finish what you started
I need to make the wise choice.
We end the month in Acts 8:26-40, and discover a Jesus follower named Philip. An angel told Philip to travel toward the desert. On the way, Philip met an Ethiopian official who was reading the Jewish Scriptures. He had questions and asked Philip. Philip answered the man’s question and pointed him to Jesus. The official put his faith in Jesus and was baptized.
Bottom Line: Keep going even when you have questions. We’ll never know everything about anything, especially when it comes to our faith in God. In order to keep going, sometimes we have to ask questions about what we don’t know. We pray that kids will discover people in their life who they trust to ask hard questions about life and faith.
