Message to Parents
Racial tensions are high in our country right now! That means that our kids not only feel this tension from others (social media and friends) but they also feel that from us! Teaching our kids to look up for guidance instead out into the world is the only way to break down this tension we have for each other. Here’s a great article for you to help them to do that!

Message to Kids
Grab your Bible and Sit down in your favorite spot in your house. Maybe it’s “your” chair or the corner of the couch. Here’s a great way to get our kids to start looking up!
Read PSALM 16:11
Put a smiley face besides the things that make you really happy. You can put two smiley faces besides the ones that make you the most happy.
PUPPIES. MOVIES. CANDY. ROLLER COASTERS. BOOKS. MUSIC. FRIENDS. VIDEO GAMES. DANCING. FAMILY.
Believe it or not, following Jesus can give you more joy than all these things combined. That may be hard to imagine, because we’re only experiencing Jesus on this side of heaven. But one day, when we are with Him forever, all these things will pale in comparison to being with Jesus!
Pray with your kids: Ask God to give you a taste of the joy to come in heaven.

Faith—Trusting in what you can’t see because of what you can see
I can trust God no matter what.
