Grove Kids

Parents,
First of all, I
pray that you and your families are all safe and well in these crazy and unknown times. I was reminded the other day by one of our parents that even though we don’t have a handle on this, God does, and is using it in His way, we just have to be patient. It’s not easy, I know!

We were thankful to get Pastor Jon’s message out last Sunday so you could enjoy service with the whole family but it felt like something was missing…OUR GROVE KIDS SERVICE!!! We need our kids to be filled in Christ as well, right?! That’s why we created a video, just for them! Join us as we bring meaningful worship, a true Bible lesson, creative craft and lots of fun into our kid’s lives again through this video!

Please let your kids know that they are missed! Big hugs for all of them!!!

This week we’re learning about the Parable of the Lost Son. It’s here in Luke 15:11-24, Jesus shares a parable to help people understand God’s amazing grace and forgiveness. A son came to his father and asked for his share of the inheritance. This broke the father’s heart, but he went ahead and gave the son what he wanted. The son wasted every last penny and hit rock bottom. He decided to go home to his father and ask forgiveness. The father was waiting with arms open wide and ready to have his son home.

Bottom Line: Everyone needs to be forgiven. Everyone at some point will do something to hurt another person, and we’ve all done something that goes against what God wants for us. We all need forgiveness. Thankfully, through Jesus, God offers forgiveness no matter what we’ve done.
