b. This team typically prepares and maintains the cleanliness of the building
on Sundays. Before, during and after events (Sunday Service), folks are
needed to walk around the facility to collect trash, wipe counters, check
for spills in halls, refill supplies needed in restrooms etc. The most
strenuous part of this volunteer position is carrying the trash out.

b. This team typically deep-cleans the building during the week. Individual
volunteers choose a room or item they want to focus on. For example,
one volunteer only washes the windows and another only cleans the
bathrooms, etc. The most strenuous part of this volunteer position is
carrying the trash out. All supplies needed are provided.

a. Needed when there is an event
b. This team sets up chairs and tables, etc. for events. The most strenuous
part of this volunteer position is carrying tables and climbing up ladders.

a. As needed basis
b. This team initially will be needed to help rehab the side yard. Currently it is unusable and there are big tasks needed to begin the creation of a future prayer garden. Tasks will include clearing rock, trash, old planters, etc. After plans are completed, this team will be on hand to shovel in
gravel to laying artificial grass, to maybe building a water feature* (if this is in the approved design.) All the tasks are strenuous. Volunteers are asked to bring gardening type tools, gloves, etc.

b. At times things at the church break or need maintenance. This individual
would be able to come in to help with smaller tasks like replacing filters in
drinking fountains or assembly of a new shelf. This person would be
asked to bring their tools (the church would provide supplies like filters,
etc.)

a. We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Children’s Ministry Security Volunteer to help ensure a safe and secure environment for children during church services and events. This role involves monitoring the premises, checking in and out procedures, and assisting with emergency response as needed.

Special Events Decorator to design and set up visually engaging
decorations for our ministry’s special events. This role involves
transforming event spaces into vibrant and inviting environments that
enhance the overall experience for children and families.

a. We greet and welcome all people to Mission Grove Church with the love
of Christ. We look for ways to assist people with a smile – because service
delivered from the parking lot through the front doors of the church
shows that people matter. Jesus welcomes, and so do we.
“Welcome! We are so glad you are here.”

a. We prepare an obvious and inviting connection point for new guests and
those with questions. We gather information pertinent to assessing the
guest’s needs, help answer questions, then assist people in making their
next best connection. We distribute new guest gifts and collect next step
cards. We relationally serve others. “How can I assist you?”

a. We personally walk with guests to their next connection; we don’t just
point them toward it. We may assist a new family through the childcare
check-in process, get a cup of coffee or water for a guest, or help
someone find a classroom, the restroom, etc. Walking with people shows
they are cared for and valued, and it emulates what Jesus relationally
does for us. “I am happy to assist. Let me show you.”

a. We provide an additional point of connection by welcoming all guests
into the church auditorium. We distribute sermon outlines while assisting
guests with seating needs, when needed. We know that preparing to
deliver exceptional service shows care like Christ does. “Welcome. Glad
you are here.”

a. We create a welcoming environment that encourages fellowship before
and after services so guests can gather for conversation, connection and
community. We know that prepared environments bring unexpected and
meaningful value. “How may I serve you?”

a. We have a unique opportunity to care for new guests and early or latearriving attendees through personal and intentional care. This team may
talk with and pray for guests, help someone find a seat, or create open
seating on aisle ways when needed. (Training provided) “You matter to
the church.”

a. As soon as a guest enters the parking lot, their experience of church
begins. That is why we look for ways to assist people even when outside
the building. It could be helping someone find a parking spot, assisting
someone with a walker, or holding an umbrella on a rainy day. We strive
to eliminate barriers so the gospel message can be more easily heard and
experienced. “It’s a joy to serve you!”

You have a passion for teaching and leading others to understand God’s
Word and follow in obedience to God’s teachings and His ways. You will
choose a book of the Bible or topical study to complete, and then
prepare ahead to lead it. You are willing to build relationships and
communicate well with attendees.

a. Table leaders create a welcoming atmosphere of acceptance and trust at each table. They guide table discussion time and encourage ladies to stay on task. They agree to reach out to ladies at the table to maintain communication and connection. (Table leaders are provided with training and support to be successful in this role.)

You have a friendly disposition and like to welcome others into a group.
Greeters arrive 15-20 minutes early to lovingly welcome and interact with
ladies prior to an event. They may help answer questions, make
connections, or help someone new find a seat. This is a great first step if
you want to meet new people quickly and serve without any at-home
commitment.

a. Your faith in Jesus guides your everyday life choices and the advice and
support you give others. You desire to lovingly walk with other ladies
where they are while sharing biblical wisdom and personal experience.
You are willing to make phone calls or meet in person, as needed. You
know your job is not to “fix” people, but to point them toward Jesus.

a. You have a heart for service through preparing or providing food and
drinks to the value and betterment of others. It usually requires arriving a
little early to set up this space.

a. Many hands make light work, and yours are appreciated to help keep women’s ministry events running smoothly. You typically agree to arrive an hour early before the start of an event. There are many important set-up opportunities – you can choose your favorite! Thanks for doing the behind-the-scenes work that glorify God while serving others.

a. Use your creativity to decorate spaces before special events. This team
works together to come up with ways to create and decorate engaging
spaces for church events and functions.

This team gets joy from delivering meals to members of Grove Gals in need – the birth of a baby, scheduled surgery, a prolonged illness, etc. You simply agree to receive an email sign-up when a need exists and take part IF you are available.
