Your candidate will win or lose on the first Tuesday of November, but the church will win or lose based on how we treat one another between now and then. When you disagree politically, choose to love unconditionally and pray for unity. Jesus prayed for unity and He paid for unity by dying on the cross. Therefore, we should make unity our priority during this election season (lessons from John 17 and Ephesians 4). Find practical ways to serve in your community, but remember that your ultimate allegiance belongs to God.
